Other EMFs
In addition to wireless radiation (or radiofrequency radiation, RFR), there are other concern electromagnetic fields:
- Magnetic fields from power lines and current in the wires, often caused by wiring errors, as well as some appliances, electronics, and solar systems;
- Electric fields coming from power lines, wiring, lamps, and appliances;
- “Dirty” electricity, also called electromagnetic interference (EMI), often put out by the electric grid, energy-saving bulbs, dimmer switches, transformers in power supplies from electronics equipment, smart utility meters, and solar inverters.
Due to our limited time and resources, SafeTech NC focuses on preventing health effects of wireless radiation, or radio-frequency radiation.
